Drip Distribution and Spray Irrigation: Alternative, Mechanical Systems, that treat wastewater on-lot. Drip systems include drip laterals near the surface of the ground. These systems require a large dose tank after the septic tank to accommodate the timed dose delivery of wastewater. Spray systems spray treated wastewater over the surface of the yard so these systems need proper distance requirements.
