The Darke County Health Department has been awarded $300,000 from the Ohio EPA to go towards the repair/replacement of failing septic systems in Darke County.
To be eligible, the home must be owner/occupied and the homeowner must be current with property taxes and mortgage payments. The household income must be at or below 300% of the HHS poverty guildelines for at least 50% funding of the project. For example, a family of 1-4 people with a total household income or $72,750 or less would be eligible for at least 50% funding.
